World Environment Day 2021
5th June, of 2021 bears significance to the whole world for it reminds the population to respect the ‘Environment Day ‘and not to take it for granted. Those wanting to know of our global environment are cordially invited to study the ecosystem and the role model of the United Nation [UN] the partnering the World Health organization [WHO]; collaborating agency and the United Nation Environment Programme [UNEP], Food and Agriculture Organization [FAO] to preserve the environment.
When the Environment Day was first declared in Stockholm on 05th June 1972 the ‘theme’ was ‘Only One Earth’ and it evolved to be the ‘Reimagine. Recreate. Restore’ in this year.
Mr. Mangala Gunasekera, the energetic Chairman of Elasto Group was quite eager to make this ‘Environment Day’ a memorable one with the tree planting to respect the ecosystem.
